Bio of melissa glasson
MA, Lcsw
(she/her)

For many, the current season of their life may be challenging. Feelings of anxiety and self doubt are symptoms of these challenges. I have learned that the biggest opportunities for growth occur when we allow ourselves to be uncomfortable. I started my second career later in life.

That opportunity allowed me the clarity and self-awareness you gain from the ups and downs, milestones, and grief that you experience along the way. Now I share that insight with clients as we build rapport and trust to work towards better choices, healthier mindsets, and positive coping skills. Learned behaviors can increase defenses over time. Past traumas may be keeping you from experiencing a deeper understanding of your connected self and the person you are today. When this occurs, we limit our abilities to accept, forgive, and heal.

I believe in addressing the whole person in terms of their mind, body, and spirit. Through a holistic, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach, together we may achieve the mental wellness you are seeking. I am here to help you strive for the fulfilling future you desire.
