Video Therapy/Counseling in Michigan

Bio of
Jimmy Dagostino, MA, LLP
(They/them)
Since I began working as a therapist in 2016 I’ve worked primarily in the LGBTQ+ Community, of which I myself am part of as a non-binary person. My personal and professional experience in this area has led me making this my primary clinical focus to helping anyone in or allied with the community with the variety of challenges that we face, be it depression, anxiety, struggling with identity or expression, or trauma.

Being that I’m trained in Humanistic-Existential Psychology, my approach is one that is person-centered, collaborative, authentic, and affirming. I meet people where they’re at and try to work with each person individually to determine the best path forward and help them find the necessary tools and insight to follow it.

I strive to create a relaxed and open therapeutic setting where you can feel free and safe to explore whatever it may be that’s bringing you in. Life can be a struggle and there’s a lot of things we want to explore or work on or change that we find ourselves needing an outside perspective for, yet we still want someone who we feel like will understand our struggle. I hope I can provide that space for everyone who comes to see me, and I welcome you to reach out via my psychology today profile linked below.
